One of Gretchen's favorite books is Cowboy Baby. I found this Bandana Cowgirl dress and some boots on E-bay and ordered them. I was so excited when they came in the mail. To bad I didn't think about the dress having pearl snaps! I think she had the dress off 10 minutes after I put it on her. I don't know if we will dress her in this dress for church, I'm not sure everyone would appreciate my naked child!

Oh boy. Gretchen just reflects her Mommy and Daddy's free-spirit nature. What a cutie. Sad you're on the other side of the country. I'd love to come see you guys and Vermont, though.

Kristin, I don't suppose you remember YOUR naked story from "nursery days?" Dad and I were sitting in the gospel doctrine class listening to the lesson. Enter the nursery leader with you in her arms (she's on the other side of the room.) With all eyes on her she points to you and whispers LOUDLY, "She doesn't have any underpants on!" THAT was major embarrassment!
I'm sure that I was thinking something like, "When you grow up I hope you have a little girl just like you!" Hmmm?
