Leaving Vermont

I was both dreading and praying for June 20th to come. It was a sad day for me because it meant we were leaving behind so many great friends. My last week in Vermont was a rough one. Mike worked up until the 20th so the whole move was on my shoulders. Thankfully I have some great friends who helped carry the weight with me. Thanks to Jessica, Arian, Heather, Vanessa, and Angie I didn't collapse under the load. The movers arrived a full 2 hours late and loaded up the truck. I actually ended up making them wait for me in the end as I had packed my checkbook and needed to go to my 18 week ultrasound. It was sweet to have such a treat waiting for me after all the hard work! To all those who I haven't talked to or seen in person, we are pregnant! We are having a little girl. Her due date is November 22nd. I have been trying to post the ultrasound but have had no luck. We will miss beautiful Vermont, and we will really miss all the friends we have made during the past year.

moving is always so hard. I am sure you guys will do great in your new home, though. You are just so great that there's nothing not to love about you guys, so you have no choice but to make lots of new friends.
We are so excited for your little girl. Isabel is getting way to old to be the youngest baby in the family! Do you have a name yet?

A GIRL!!!
I'm so happy....another cute Gretchen.
We miss you guys so much. I unfortunately drive past your house every day that I go to work, and wish you were still here.
Hope things are going well for Mike.
I'm sure we'll be in touch.

Kristin, seriously, I about cried reading this. I think I am still in denial that you are not here. I think about you often and thank you for your friendship, food and photography magazines. No, seriously, they are helpful! I wish I was more helpful during the week of your move. Thanks for everything! Rick and I hope to see you on the west coast in the next few years!

What a sweet post, I love the pictures, as always. I only wish we would have been able to come and visit you while you were in Vermont. Maybe someday we can all travel back there together. You will make so many new friends and have great memories in SF too!!

I wasn't sure which email you use these days, but I wanted to send you this link: http://www.alphamom.com/hotspots/2008/07/activities-with-kids-san-francisco.php It is a list of things to do with kids in SF. It was written by a girl that grew up in St. George (UT), but lives in SF. She has a really cute blog.

Thought I'd better leave a post so you would know that I finally (!) got on all the families' blogs.

Attention, all Wilson family procrastinators: Know this that we (Kristin, Mom and Dad) have airline reservations in November from SLC to SF for Grandma to attend Mama Kristin and new baby girl after the birth. Dad will be on his own for Thanksgiving. I just hope the airline doesn't go under before then!
